Remade in Britain

Remade in Britain, the UK’s first website dedicated solely to upcycling, was launched in November 2014.

Definition was briefed to introduce Remade to the media and public and help establish the site as the first port of call for upcyclers.

A hard-hitting news story was created, focusing on the global upcycling movement, statistics about how much waste is discarded in the UK and facts about the most commonly discarded items.

Central to our media launch was a photo of a ‘room’ in a skip using products sold on Remade, which propelled the trailblazing website into the media spotlight.
