Building thought leadership

From Brexit to M&A to climate change, the media has an enormous appetite for comment and opinion from legal experts. We help you craft a compelling story and amplify it in a way that benefits your business.

Managing reputational risk

As a legal PR agency we are adept at helping firms manage reputational risk and limit the damage of a reputation-impacting event. This requires a deep understanding of the issues affecting your business, combined with online and social media experience.

Crisis communications

The best time to react to a crisis is before it’s happened. We work with law firms – and often with their clients directly – to help anticipate and prepare for potential crises and reputational risk scenarios, working with them to manage the message and protect their reputation as a crisis unfolds.

Media training

A core element of legal sector PR is building the profiles of practice partners. These people are experts in their fields and act as natural media spokespeople. We work with our law firm clients to train senior teams on how to feel comfortable in front of the camera, control the message and amplify their profile and brand.

We renewed our relationship with Definition in April 2020 to take on the role as our media relations agency. The UK had just gone into lockdown and we recognised the importance of maintaining and increasing our share of voice in key markets, at a time when there was a huge amount of ‘noise’. The Definition team has seamlessly integrated with our organisation. They have become a key part of our marketing and brand efforts, working hand-in-hand with our internal marketing team. The success they have achieved has been fantastic, providing us with opportunities to increase our brand reach that we would not have otherwise been able to resource.
