We love a podcast here at Definition and we’re not alone – RAJAR found 19% of adults (10.5m) listen to podcasts every week (for a total of 69m hours!). But B2B podcasts can be a little harder to find. So, here’s our roundup of the best out there, that cover a range of B2B topics, including work life, entrepreneurship, marketing and more.

Working It

Working It is an award-winning, weekly podcast and newsletter by the FT, covering ahead-of-the-curve workplace trends, expert analysis, and the big ideas shaping work today. (It’s also a favourite of the Definition media relations team!) Host Isabel Berwick and newsletter editor Sophia Smith are very open to feedback, comments and ideas, so we recommend emailing them (FT journalists’ emails are always in their bios) or commenting on the newsletter with your thoughts.

Find it on Apple Podcasts or Spotify.

Marketing Week

Marketing Week is a well-respected business title in the UK, so it makes perfect sense that their podcast is thoughtful and interesting. They cover key topics with industry leaders who are worthwhile listening to, whether you work in marketing or not. The best way to get in touch with the team is by contacting Georgia Chantreel-Plant, the digital content producer for Marketing Week.

Small Business Trends – One-on-One Interviews

This is a weekly series featuring key voices in companies large and small, in a relaxed and informative style. Industry leaders provide actionable advice and tips for how to grow your business, as well as how they overcame issues in their careers. The best way to get in touch with the team is by contacting executive editor Shawn Hessinger.

This Week in Start-ups

This Week in Start-Ups is great for avid pod listeners because there is a new episode every day. As the name suggests, they cover start-ups, but they also talk about the biggest topics in business and tech, and they interview founders, operators, investors and innovators.  You can get involved with their Twitter group to discuss the show, and contact executive producer Jacqui Deegan if you’d like to get in touch.

Find it on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or YouTube.

Behind the Money

Another fantastic FT podcast is Behind the Money, hosted by Michela Tindera. Shorter episodes are released weekly and go behind the scenes of the biggest business and financial stories around the world. Much like Isabel Berwick at Working It, host Michela is very open to feedback, comments and ideas, so we recommend emailing her or responding to the newsletter with your thoughts.

Money Talks

Another weekly short-length podcast to subscribe to is the Money Talks podcast by The Economist. As you’d expect from The Economist, it’s an authoritative take on the markets, the economy and the world of business, and is very well-established: it’s been going since 2015! Your go-to contact for this podcast is Dan Ascher, the senior podcast producer at The Economist.

Breaking B2B – B2B Marketing & Demand Generation Podcast

If you need advice for your B2B marketing, sales, and growth strategy, this podcast is for you! It is very ‘tip’ focussed with lots of digital marketing advice and episodes covering specific tactics your business can use. You’ll also find a whole host of interviews with marketing leaders who willingly dispense their best advice, too. If you’d like to feature on the show, guests can apply here.
