Definition is celebrating being shortlisted for three PRmoment Awards:

We have been shortlisted for Mid-Sized Agency of the Year following the launch of the Definition brand, including a new vision, mission and values project that define our core objectives. With record revenues in 2018, 24 new clients won, as well as supporting the development of staff with eight promotions, the last 12 months have been the most successful on record.

The nominations also reward our work in the maritime industry, with our campaign for Tall Ships Youth Trust, up for Not-for-profit Campaign of the Year. The team created a campaign to leverage influencer engagement through the organisation’s association with Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon. This promoted the work it does to help 1,500 disadvantaged and disabled young people across the UK improve their confidence and future life prospects through trips to sea.

For long-standing maritime trade union client, Nautilus International, we have continued to deliver outstanding results, generating 350 pieces of trade, regional and national coverage around the sustainability of jobs in the maritime industry, engaging key political stakeholders, and helping secure additional government funding for training as part of the ‘SMart Funding’ programme. The programme has been shortlisted for Media Relations Campaign of the Year.

Louise Vaughan, managing director at Definition, said: “After undertaking such a momentous project last year in unifying two agencies across offices in the UK and Middle East, we feel honoured to be shortlisted for a hat trick of industry awards, including a coveted Agency of the Year nomination.

“It was an exceptional year for us and we’ve had some fun along the way – from hosting a fantastic youth event with Duran Duran’s Simon Le Bon, to developing animations dispelling maritime myths – and I’m proud of the hard work our account teams put in to make these campaigns a huge success for our clients.”

The PRmoment Awards celebrate excellence and recognise and reward outstanding campaigns and exceptional talent in the UK PR and communications sector. Definition will be battling it out for a trophy at an awards ceremony in Manchester on Wednesday 13 March.

To date, Definition has won more than 60 regional, national, international and industry awards including three European PR Excellence Awards rewarding its expertise in reputation management across three varied client campaigns.
