Sandra Hobson joins the agency as director of London from integrated agency, Golin, where she worked in the corporate team, overseeing global accounts including EY and Capri-Sun. Sandra specialises in global campaigns in sectors including fast moving consumer goods (FMCG), professional services and sustainability and will lead on client strategy and driving new business growth for the agency’s London and EMEA offering.

Lisa Marshall also joins the agency as account manager from Markettiers. With over a decade of experience in the PR and communications industry, she has previously worked for a range of global health and automotive brands, including Good Food and Mercedes as well as Tourism Australia.

The expansion follows Limelight PR’s acquisition by Acceleris earlier in the year and subsequent relaunch as Definition. The combined business, which forecasts revenues of £2m in 2018, has a 30 strong team made up of corporate communications professionals, former national journalists and digital content production experts working out of offices in London, Harrogate and the Middle East.

Definition has a strong pedigree of experience in the creative, tech and professional services industries, with global clients including marketing data business, Acxiom, corporate law firm, Winston & Strawn and Cielo – the world’s leading recruitment process outsourcing partner.

Definition recently added to its haul of more than 60 regional, national and international industry awards, winning gold in October at the national Association Excellence Awards for campaign work with international maritime union, Nautilus International.

The agency will be competing for six Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards in November, which follows its success at this year’s Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) DARE Awards, where it won Gold for its work with Nautilus International in the Charity/Not for Profit category.
