Block three – Strategy – 1) Build on existing US campaign by localizing messages. 2) Embark on a media relations programme. 3) Work with US partners to maximize celebrity partnerships that the brand had in place with popular artists Selena Gomez, Common and Fergie. 4) The campaign also encompassed relevant online activity designed to encourage millennials to match the right case to the right occasion. Central to this was partnering with Poppy Disney’s What I Wore Today website. Block four – Results - The brand regularly profiled in the likes of Cosmopolitan, Heat, Grazia, Closer and Celebs on Sunday. At the end of the two-year campaign, Case-Mate was acknowledged as the number 1 brand of smartphone cases in Europe (according to GFK).
