Software we use on our website that affects you

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics – a third party service provided by, well, Google – to gather details about visitor behaviour – how long visitors spend on different pages, where, geographically, visitors originate from, how many pages they visit etc. We use it because we want to know what visitors like and don’t like – really important information to help us generate more visits and ultimately new business.

Don’t worry: we can’t identify you from this information, we won’t ever make any attempt to do so, and we don’t allow Google to do so either. Everything we track through Google Analytics is completely anonymous.

Here’s their privacy policy if you’re interested.

We also use a marketing platform called HubSpot. Things we use HubSpot for include:

  • Email marketing
  • Creating forms for our website
  • Understanding, much like Google Analytics, general details about visitor behaviour

Here’s their privacy policy if you’re interested.

Everything we track through HubSpot is completely anonymous – until you fill out a form on our site – at that point, unless you’ve deleted your cookies or refused the HubSpot cookie when first visiting our site, your browsing history on our site is associated with your contact record and stored in HubSpot.

Microsoft Clarity

We have installed a Microsoft Clarity cookie on every page of our site. Clarity captures the interactions on our website such as how the page has rendered and what interactions users undertake such as mouse movements, clicks, scrolls, etc. By default, any sensitive content such as passwords, usernames, etc. are masked before sending to Clarity. Clarity is GDPR complaint as a data controller.

Here’s their privacy policy if you’re interested.

Cookies we use on our website that affect you

What is a cookie?

Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information which are downloaded to your personal computer, mobile or other device when you visit a website. Cookies are then sent back to the originating website on each subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie. Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognise a user’s device.

How long are cookies stored for?

Persistent cookies – these cookies remain on a user’s device for the period of time specified in the cookie. They are activated each time that the user visits the website that created that particular cookie.

Session cookies – these cookies allow website operators to link the actions of a user during a browser session. A browser session starts when a user opens the browser window and finishes when they close the browser window. Session cookies are created temporarily. Once you close the browser, all session cookies are deleted.

Cookies do lots of different jobs, like letting you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, and generally improve the user experience.

You can find more information about cookies at: and

You can decline all cookies when you visit our site. If you do not, then all of the cookies below will be activated.

Google Analytics and HubSpot cookies

Google Analytics and HubSpot collect anonymous information via cookies added to your browser when you visit our site.

However, if you fill out a form on our site, HubSpot will associate your previous page views based on the tracking cookie.

If you delete the cookies in your browser, you will be considered a new visitor and will be assigned a new cookie. However, HubSpot will automatically deduplicate form submissions coming from the same email address, even if different browser cookies were associated with the submissions.

More on HubSpot cookies here.

Facebook cookies

When someone visits our website and takes an action like completing a form, visiting a specific page or watching a video, the Facebook pixel is triggered and reports this action back to our Facebook account. This enables us to show the most relevant content and advertise to you and other people like you (for example people who may be the same age as you, work in the same industry or come from the same location) on Facebook.

The data collected in this way is anonymous to us, i.e. we do not see the personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, which is why we are informing you, based on our knowledge of the situation.

Facebook may link this information to your Facebook account and also use it for its own promotional purposes, in accordance with Facebook’s Data Usage Policy (

LiteSpeed cookies

These cookies allow our web server to store settings to help improve performance of the site.

Cloudflare cookies

These cookies are used to detect malicious bots and are due to be deprecated on 10 May 2021. More details here:

Microsoft Clarity cookies

If you contact us with an enquiry you may receive marketing emails from us in future.

We use a third-party provider, HubSpot (as mentioned above), to deliver our emails. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see HubSpot’s privacy notice.

You can unsubscribe from mailings at any time of the day or night by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

Again, we don’t sell, rent, or trade email lists, so you don’t have to worry about us giving your data to some sentient spambot.
